Quin Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

At Quin, we believe creative freedom goes hand in hand with privacy. We built this geometric photo editing tool to let you turn your ordinary photos into unique artworks without the hassle of sign-ups, tracking, or unnecessary data collection. This privacy policy clearly outlines what (if any) data we handle when you use Quin, and how we protect your creative space.

2. What Information We Collect

• No personal identifiable information required: Quin does not require account registration, sign-up, or submission of any personal details (including your name, email, phone number, or location) to access all core editing features. We never collect, store, or process any data that can be linked to your personal identity at any point of your use.
• Your uploaded photos: Any original image you upload from your device is only used for the sole purpose of generating your custom Voronoi polygon artwork. All processing (whether run locally on your device or via our temporary cloud servers) does not retain your original photo: all original files and temporary processing caches are permanently and irreversibly deleted immediately after your final artwork is generated. We never store copies of your original photos, nor do we access them for any purpose outside of the editing request you initiate.
• Anonymized usage data: The only data we may collect is fully non-identifiable, aggregated usage information (such as feature usage frequency, app crash logs, and polygon density preference trends) that cannot be linked back to any individual user. This data is only used to optimize our polygon generation technology and improve app performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

Since we do not hold any personal identifiable information, we cannot and will never use your data for targeted advertising, user profiling, or any other purpose that infringes on your privacy. The limited anonymized usage data we collect is only used for the following purposes:

• Optimize the speed and accuracy of our Voronoi grid generation algorithm
• Fix app bugs and improve overall editing experience
• Adjust feature design based on user preference trends

We will never sell, rent, or trade any data associated with Quin users to third parties for any reason.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not share any user data with third parties for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or any other unrelated purposes. If we partner with third-party service providers for core app functionality (such as anonymized crash reporting), these providers are bound by strict privacy obligations and are not permitted to collect, store, or use any data for their own commercial purposes.

5. Your Rights

As we do not collect or store any personal identifiable information or copies of your uploaded photos, there is no personal data associated with your use of Quin that you need to request to access, correct, or delete. All geometric artworks you create with Quin belong 100% to you, and we will never access, use, or claim ownership of your creations without your explicit written consent.

6. Privacy For All Age Groups

Quin is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users of any age group, as we do not collect any personal information at all. If you believe we have inadvertently received any identifiable information, please contact us immediately and we will delete the relevant content promptly.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally as we roll out new features or make improvements to Quin. When we make updates, we will post a prominent in-app notification to inform you of changes before they take effect, and update the effective date listed at the top of this policy. Your continued use of Quin after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
